Returns

Is it possible to return my order? Yes, it is possible.

Items purchased from Ottawa Johnson can, in most cases, be returned within 30 days of receipt. To return a product, it must meet the following conditions:

  • The product must not have been used;

  • The product must be returned in its original condition;

  • The product must not be damaged by the customer;

  • Hygiene products and underwear are considered non-returnable;

  • The package must include a Track & Trace code;

  • Return shipping costs are always the responsibility of the customer, regardless of location;

  • We reserve the right to charge shipping costs to the customer;

  • We must be informed of the return in advance.

If you do not meet these conditions, we will not accept your return.

If your product arrives damaged, take a picture immediately so you have proof the damage was not caused by you.

We reserve the right to refuse returned items if we suspect they have been used or damaged through no fault of our own.


Easy Returns in 3 Steps:

Step 1: Contact us
If you want to return your order, send us an email at info@ottawa-johnson.com

1a: State your order number (#ordernummer)
2a: State the reason for your request, and we will send you a return form.
3a: Provide a photo of the product in case of damage, your full name, and customer address.

We will then contact you and provide you with the return address.
Never send the package to the sender’s address, we will provide the correct address once requested. Return shipping costs are the customer’s responsibility.

Step 2: Send your order
Send the items together with the return form to the address provided. Ensure the package includes a Track & Trace code. As the sender, you are responsible for the shipment. Products must be returned within 14 days after informing us.

Step 3: Processing your return
Once we have received your return shipment, we will assess the returned items and process your refund. The money will be refunded using the original payment method unless otherwise requested. Refunds will be processed within 14 days.

⚠️ Note: Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer to maintain the most sustainable shipping process possible.

As our warehouse is located in China, return costs can be high. Please feel free to contact our customer service to find a suitable solution.

Right of Withdrawal

The consumer has a right of withdrawal in accordance with the following provision, provided the consumer is a natural person entering into a legal transaction for purposes not predominantly related to their commercial or professional activity.

  • The withdrawal period is 14 days from the day you, or a third party named by you who is not the carrier, receive the last goods.

  • Orders are processed automatically once placed, and we cannot interrupt the shipping process until delivery. Therefore, a refund is only possible after receipt and return of the goods.

  • To exercise your right of withdrawal, you must inform us via a clear statement (e.g., by email to info@ottawa-johnson.com. The withdrawal is complete once we have received the goods.

  • The costs of returning goods are the responsibility of the buyer.


Exceptions & Exclusions

  • Customized products, cosmetics, hazardous materials, flammable liquids, and gases cannot be returned.

  • Sale items and gift cards are non-returnable.


Cancellations

Cancellations are only possible within 2 hours of placing an order due to processing times.
If the order has already been shipped, cancellation is no longer possible. You may return the package after receipt for a full refund.


Refunds

  • After receiving and inspecting your return, we will notify you whether the refund has been approved.

  • Approved refunds are processed via the original payment method. It may take up to 2 weeks for your bank or credit card company to process the refund.

  • For Klarna payments, refunds are processed directly by us, but it may take a few business days for Klarna to update your invoice.


Uncollected Packages

If a package is left uncollected at a pickup point, costs will be deducted from the refund amount, as such items are no longer reusable. Additionally, return shipping costs will be charged to the sender.
